A key focus of the feature is Airweave’s role as the Official Bedding Supporter for both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Across these global events, Airweave supplied more than 34,000 beds to athletes, using the Olympic Village as a real-world testing environment. Insights gathered from these large-scale deployments directly shaped the technology and personalization now available in our consumer collection.
At the core of Airweave’s innovation is Airfiber®, a highly breathable, quick-rebound material engineered to support natural nighttime movement and spinal alignment. Research conducted in collaboration with Stanford University later linked Airweave sleep surfaces to deeper, more restorative sleep and measurable performance benefits, reinforcing Airfiber® as a science-backed alternative to traditional coil systems and memory foam.

Originally developed to accommodate changing athletes in the Olympic Village, our modular mattress system allows firmness to be adjusted by zone, enabling sleepers to fine-tune comfort based on their unique needs.
Following years of refinement, Airweave redesigned its collection specifically for U.S. preferences and sustainability standards, leading to the opening of our flagship boutique in Santa Monica.
