World Oceans Day: Giving Back to the Waters That Connect Us

This World Oceans Day, we're proud to highlight our partnership with CleanHub and the meaningful work being done to protect our oceans from plastic pollution.

Every year, millions of tons of plastic waste enter our oceans, threatening marine ecosystems, wildlife, and coastal communities around the world. Through our partnership with CleanHub, Airweave helps support waste collection programs that intercept plastic before it can reach waterways and oceans, creating measurable environmental impact where it matters most.

As part of this year's World Oceans Day efforts, volunteers gathered at Kizhoor Beach to remove waste and debris from the shoreline. The cleanup serves as a powerful reminder that protecting our oceans starts with action at the local level.

Over the course of the event, bags of litter were collected and removed from the beach, helping restore the natural beauty of the coastline while preventing harmful materials from reaching marine ecosystems.
